Softwave Therapy

A non-invasive treatment that uses acoustic waves to stimulate healing in injured or inflamed tissue.

  • Chronic pain
  • Tendon injuries
  • Inflammation
  • Athletes

What it is

SoftWave therapy delivers focused sound waves into soft tissue, tendons, and joints without needles or surgery. The applicator rests on the skin while pulses travel into the area that needs care. It is commonly used for stubborn pain and slow-healing injuries.

How it works

Acoustic pulses create a mild mechanical effect in the tissue that can increase local blood flow and encourage the body’s repair response. Over a short series of visits, this may help calm inflammation and support healthier tissue remodeling. Most sessions last only a few minutes per treatment area.

Benefits

  • Non-invasive, no downtime or needles
  • May reduce chronic soft-tissue and joint pain
  • Supports healing in tendons, ligaments, and muscles
  • Can be combined with chiropractic and rehab care
  • Treatments are typically quick and well tolerated

After your treatment

Simple guidelines to help your body settle and recover.

  1. Heat the area as much as possible (even a heated car seat works) over ice
  2. Tylenol is preferred over ibuprofen
  3. Mild redness or temporary ache in the area is common
  4. Skip intense training on the treated area for 24 hours
  5. Stay hydrated and keep moving gently
